@h4mza they will play catchup and steal these specs in iPhone 5 then people are then gonna buy it :s what a bunch of losers !
@lovedroid68 search htc sense in google news and your bound to see a story on it. ive read about 12 myself. all handsets that run froyo from now on will definately have this ui ovcourse
@LfCps3yo I got my hands on an HTC HD2 today at the mall and it doesn’t feel overwhelming for me at all. In fact, I loved it! And if I remember correctly, the Desire HD is the same size as the HD2 which is good. I’m so excited! This phone will be one hell of an eye-catcher! The guy at HTC Philippines in SM North EDSA told us that the phone will arrive three weeks from now. So I’ll go back there in November and buy it. =)
I just hope it doesnt take a year for this to get to Telus
@h4mza I’m getting it too!!! It’s fantastic!
HTC desire HD is sooo beautiful!! love it ♥♥
@GauravA42 I have to agree to disagree. What you said is extremely contradictory. If more RAM is better, then ask yourself how does the OS perform rather than “more ram = better os experience”. As for the retina display, there is no reason to deny, 960-by-640 resolution is unmatched from the optical distance needed. The camera has taken better produced images on HDR and outshined the top Android hitters. 8mp Driod X, Evo, Epic 4G (Has flash), and even the Nokia N8. But stupid ANTENNA!
@rx7sign I disagree, the A4 processor is not much better than these phones, plus these have signifigantly more ram, which is actually far more important in smartphone performance in most situations. The Iphone has a higher res screen, but really the superficial properties of the iphone are what will make it sell, most iphone consumers dont understand the hardware, and apple understands this too. That is why instead of just saying their screen is high res, they named it the ‘Retina Diplay’.
Samsung Galaxy ftw
poor steve jobs
@kahuna3901 Source? I have heard it will only be given to NEW phones (meaning anything launched after this launch of Z and HD).
the new htc sense is getting pushed to all htc froyo devices. so if you for example own a htc desire orginal you will get the choice to be updated to the new interface
@rx7sign Keep telling that to yourself…
Fuck both, iPhone 4 has better hardware. Thumbs up.
Fuck iPhone 4, I’m getting the Desire HD.
For real.
@h4mza LOL true dat Nice to see someone with a brain ANDROID rules the HTC Desire Z is arriving to me on the 6th of Oct hopefully
I will let you guys know what I think … CoolTechSpot website if you have questions etc contact me and I will address them in my review of the Desire Z possibly with a radio show and video link. So you can call in with your questions. Ciao4Now.
@sharongladys Since its on Android there are many free ebook reader progams.
@ladyhalyn
Yea thats the main problem i have with the phone. Ive got a feeling it will be slow/lag which will be very annoying. Hopefully the reviews are good. I still do not understand why nokia did not increase the MHz. Would have done nothing but improve the phone. If not that phone i may just get the desire HD despite having a large screen.
does the Desire Z have the e-reader function? or only Desire HD has it due to its huge screen?
@LfCps3yo I’ve also seen the N8 around… It’s nice to see Nokia finally dawdling with capacitive screens instead of resistive. And the camera is 12.1 MP. OS is Symbian 3. I’m concerned about the processor though. Only 680 MHz. Perhaps it’s better to wait for reviews before purchasing it because the whole system might lag once you put stuff inside the phone… Messages, pictures, music, etc. Lags are unforgivable.
@LfCps3yo The Desire Z is only 3.7″ though… Still big but perhaps just big enough? And I think the space on the side actually may have a purpose. =/ Because you’re going to grip your phone over to those spaces… *shrug* Anyway, the Desire Z is somewhat the same as the Desire HD except with a slide QWERTY and, from what I’ve heard and read, a really nice keyboard with the whole Z-hinge and a 5 MP camera… And the processor is 800 MHz. Still runs very fast though.
I wish Desire Z had 1ghz processor and 700+ Ram like HD
@misscupcake1211 all I know is Vodafone is one of them. Both will be exclusive to Vodafone if you live in Spain, Turkey or Australia.
Who Ever ‘HELP’S’ Me, I Will Sub You/Them (lol)
Which One Is Over All Better For Me? Im 13 BTW But I Know Alot About Technology For Someone My Age. My Hand’s Are Small Though So Will The HD Be To Big? :S
@ladyhalyn
I was interested in the desire z as well but when i seen the keyboard and that is was quite wide (from the side) it put me off. Also is it exactly the same as the desire HD or is the desire z worse?
Right now im interested inn the nokia n8
